RE: Flat Panel Install???

Always do a search first, but in the TH section in a search for "TV Mount" there is a goog article. The link is

RE: Posting And You!!

We should have that on this forum site also. It should be mandatory for everyone to read and put into practice.

RE: motorcycle chock

I have the Condor and it is not bolted to the floor. It works well with my 900lb Goldwing. I use 2 ratchet straps in the front, 2 on the sides and one attached to the trailer hitch. Have put 15000 miles on the trailer/bike combo this way with no problems.
I couldn't put the plate that came with the Condor on the floor because the 120gal water tank was right below where the hold down plate would need to be placed. Gave the unit a try on some back roads to be sure I had it all secured correctly and from then on I have never needed the Condor bolted to the floor.

RE: Barber Superbike Races

Be careful at Deal's Gap, the law started a crackdown on speeders last year and it will continue till the speeding has stopped. This is according to a friend of mine who lives near there. The road is a state route and the state is trying to put a stop to all the motorcyclists ripping down the road.

RE: Ramp Door Padlocks

I have been using the "hockey puck" for a few years also with no damage that I can see to the trailer. You will find a lot of them at the self storage places so they must be fairly secure.

RE: Top 10 Do’s & Don’ts when Hauling a Toy Hauler

beemerphile1, you are not too quick to be cynical. If you check justduneit345's profile you will see a website so there could be a little selling going on here. Probably why the admin edited the post in the first place.

RE: Top 10 Do’s & Don’ts when Hauling a Toy Hauler

I sounds like someone actually read the owners manual and thinks that the rest of didn't. Some of the hitch stuff agrees to some extent with the Reese setup instructions, but there are a few things missing. Other information is common sense for the most part, and we all have a lot of that, right?

RE: Motorcycle Wheel Chocks

There has been a few threads on this forum about wheel chocks so a search might help a little.
Here is the link to one of the major players in the wheel chock business. http://www.condor-lift.com/products.asp
As for mounting, whatever brand you get, don't trust just the floor in the TH. Put something under the trailer such as a 1/4 steel plate.

RE: What's your tow vehicle?

I think Vin_number missunderstood the initial post or was in the wrong forum all together.
aarondeere - I don't think that you can get an ATV in the bed of any truck and still get the 5er hooked up. The placement of the hitch is over the rear wheels which, in most cases, is almost in the middle of the length of the truck bed. If you want to haul an atv and the 5er, you might be looking at a custom 4500 or larger truck.
If you are considering a 16K TH, you should be looking at a 3500/350 or larger truck. There are some good posts on this form for weight distribution and calculation so that you can match the TV with the TH and all the toys/load. Whatever you do, get all the numbers right first before buying anything and don't listen to the dealer. As has been said here many times, do your homework first not last.
Good luck and happy camping.

If you are interested in quality and no problems, go with the Rage'n.

RE: Times are tough - Had to downsize!

Looks like you shouldn't over heat on those long hills with the hood missing. It probably makes for a hot driver, but if the AC is working you should be able to compensate.
I didn't notice any specs on MPG. Probably still in development, right?
